Nurit Licht

With over 15 years of leadership experience, Dr. Licht is a physician leader dedicated to bringing access and high quality health care to underserved populations. Combining visionary and collaborative leadership, Dr. Licht has worked to lead clinical service design and growth at Petaluma Health Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center which now serves over 40,000 patients across nine locations in Sonoma and Marin Counties. Dr. Licht is a full spectrum Family Physician by training who has worked exclusively with underserved populations. She began her leadership path in Quality Improvement and expanded her focus to include Provider Oversight, Care Innovation, and Clinical Service Design. Her role as Chief Medical Officer focuses on all aspects of strategic and tactical care delivery.During her tenure as CMO at Petaluma Health Center, the organization has certified with NCQA as a Patient Centered Medical Home, successfully accredited with The Joint Commission, and has consistently been ranked in the top tier of health centers for quality both regionally and nationally. Dr. Licht has extensive experience and expertise in Clinical Operations and Optimization, Budgeting, Performance Improvement, Risk Management, and Health Care Strategy. She is currently obtaining a Masters in Health Care Delivery Science at Dartmouth.
