I am a Ph.D. Student at North Carolina State University, where I work as a research assistant in the Realsearch group, under Dr. Laurie Williams's supervision. I'm interested in data-driven discovery and analytics to validate, evolve, and solidify the theory and practice of software security. To keep pace with the increasing reliance on secure software in our daily life and industry, it is an open query for all practitioners to understand how to improve package security by adopting practical automated security practices. My current research aims to aid practitioners in producing more secure software products through the development of actionable security metrics, the identification of weak link signals, and the leveraging of software security measures in dependency graphs to select good components.
