Nyssa Willis

I am currently still serving in the British Army as REME but I will be leaving and looking forward to a new challenge in March 2019. I currently have an NVQ Level 3 in Enginnering but at this present time I am studying at the Staffordshire University to gain a FDSc in General Engineering. I have over 12 years experience working on a variety of different vehicle platforms as well as managing teams of engineers to diagnose and repair all vehicle types. My knowledge is a range of mechanical systems which include engines, transmission systems, hydraulic systems and electrical systems. My role is carrying out inspections on all the fleet and to make sure they comply with the Army inspection standards and also the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA). I also inspect lifting equipment from shackles, strops and slings which are used to transport any item underneath a helicopter and to make sure LOLER standards are met. I am from the suffolk area and more than happy to travel to work in the Cambridge, Essex and Norfolk areas.
