There can be no organizations without people. There will not be sound corporations, multi-nationals and 'big 4s' or 'big 5s' without good people. As a human resources professional, my biggest assignment, after finding the right people, is getting them so tuned into the Company's strategic objectives that they become linked up... one part supporting the other, one end holding the other up... no loose ends, no weak links. I boast of sound mentoring. It is easier to learn from the mistakes of those who have gone ahead, to ride on the shoulders of those who take giant strides. I boast of sound performance management systems, and of good compensation structures but most importantly, I boast of good people, for without productive people, for whom would the structures be built, for whom would the systems be developed and through whom would our successes be measured. Human Resources Management is what I do.
