I have a Master’s degree in Physics from Lund University as well as a Licentiate degree in atomic physics from Stockholm University. In all my academic work, I have worked with measuring and analyzing large amounts of data in a systematic way, as well as with lasers, detectors, and sensors. The experience I have gained is not just related to the academic aspects, my work has been full of experimenting with ways to measure and work, restructuring and developing the laboratory and technical equipment as well as solving open-ended problems using the resources at hand. As a concrete example, I managed to assemble a fully functioning narrow linewidth laser for our experiments using scavenged parts from several older, non-functioning, laser setups. At Axis Communications I worked as an imaging engineer, which further deepened my experience with data analysis and my knowledge about sensors, detectors, and optics as these are important parts of the development and problem-solving for projects. It also allowed me to develop my programming skills in Python and C++ as well as exposed me to tools and concepts of great value for software development, testing, and analysis. These tools include git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Docker, SQL, and Jira. At Axis, all FW development work is strictly done in a Linux environment, and I have also gotten experience with Linux and bash as a consequence. I currently work as an algorithm developer at Bosch Nordic in Lund, where I am further developing my skills in programming and analysis. The work is on an embedded system where I and my team develop algorithms and solutions for processing and interpreting the signals from an array of sensors. I’m an innovator and problem solver at heart. During my time at Axis, I have been involved in several patent applications. I have also found that I am good at having a holistic view of product development, and I have a great interest in product strategy, vision, and the input that informs these. I strive to improve the way teams work and have been acting as a Scrum Master for several teams. The drive to improve the way members of a team works together is something I will bring with me. I thrive on teamwork and I enjoy working with a skilled and dedicated team towards a shared goal.
