Larry currently works with North in a Systems role. With over 10 years of experience across quality assurance, financial data services, PR and Advertising, and construction. He previously worked as a Project Engineer on one of Canberra's largest developments, the Nightfall. He attained a higher distinction (HD) in the course and was also awarded a Certificate of Higher Distinction in Construction Ecology from United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). In addition to studying and working full time, he served as Student Success Partner(Mentor) at the University of Newcastle where he mentored 20 undergraduates of Construction Management in success pathways to academic excellence and study-work-and-life balance. It was his humble way of making a positive difference in the academic journey of his mentees. For 6 years as a Quality Assurance Manager(QAM) at LA Pharmaceutical Company Ltd, he was guided by quality standards and compliance with regulatory guidelines which earned his company industry award and recognition for quality excellence. More, while in the role of Quality Assurance Manager (QAM), he exceeded the expectation of the management by proposing and developing a new product line that was approved and fully funded. The product line successfully increased the company’s revenue by $695,000 in the first quarter. The success was attributed to his ability to think commercially and manage projects successfully. It is amazing that his background in quality assurance makes great intersection in construction and project management. What is more?
