Olivia Berry

My name is Olivia Berry and I am a junior at DePaul University where I am majoring in Communications and Media and minoring in French and International Politics. I am interested in how media interacts with the non-profit sphere and global political work, and I am passionate about using my skills and knowledge to make a positive impact on the world. In my studies at DePaul, I have focused on the ways that media can be used to advance the goals of non-profit organizations and to support political initiatives on a global scale. I have also gained proficiency in French and have studied international politics, giving me a well-rounded understanding of the complex relationships between media, non-profits, and politics. As a Contributing Writer for The DePaulia, I have had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the media industry. Through my work with the newspaper, I have honed my skills in journalism, writing, and editing, and have gained a deeper understanding of how media functions in the real world. I am currently looking for opportunities to apply my skills and knowledge in the non-profit and political communications sectors. I am eager to work with organizations that share my passion for using media to make a difference and am excited to see where my career will take me next.
