I’m a student who enjoys the outdoors and learning about plants. Cattle and strawberries make me happy! I graduated from Hartnell Community College this past spring with an Associates in Plant Science and transferred to Cal Poly SLO this fall quarter. While in community college I raised a market steer, goat and hog and sold them at local county fairs. I then received my American Degree at the Nation FFA convention in Indiana. After attending this convention I knew I wanted a career related to agricultural research. In 2020 I began working as a Biological Science Aid at the USDA-ARS.
