Olivia Hawkins

I am a current third year student studying English Language and Literature at the university of Leeds, skilled in communication, academic writing and teamwork. I have completed modules looking at language in the media, courtroom and society along with literature from periods ranging from the seventeenth century to present day. I have just completed an internship acting as social media and marketing assistant at Cohorted Communications, creating and scheduling engaging content and expanding on my writing skills. I have also written articles for Cohorted Cult and my articles are available to read on their website to a reach of over 115k. I am the acting President of Leeds Freestyle Dance Society demonstrating leadership and organisation skills. Along with undertaking tasks of my own including arranging class timetables, contacting choreographers and choreographing dance routines, I am also in charge of overseeing all the other roles in committee. Part time, I am a temporary sales consultant at Harvey Nichols where I deliver high quality service to customers and clients. I am also an experienced Food And Beverage Assistant with a demonstrated history of working in the non-profit organization management industry. Working alongside my degree has provided me with transferable skills for jobs in the future.
