Olivia Macieik

As an ardent advocate for the environment, I am committed to dedicating my career to fighting the climate crisis. With my background in sustainability, I have a deep understanding of the urgent need for climate solutions in today's world. I have a demonstrated history in climate communications, corporate sustainability, and conservation, performing LCAs and EIRs, as well as building ESG reports. Additionally, I am familiar with policy advocacy, renewable energy, global waste trade legislation, carbon markets, and sustainability initiatives. As a Polish-American and dual citizen of the EU and US, I am also well-versed in European sustainability legislation and energy efficiency. I earned my Bachelor's in International Relations and Sustainability from American University. During that time, I spent an academic semester at Frie Universität Berlin, where I studied Environmental Politics and Policy in Europe. The culmination of my studies and intensive research courses resulted in my thesis, Mass Incarceration and Climate Change: How Impending Climate Catastrophe Will Impact Inmates in the US. Experienced in research and analysis, policy and regulation, and project management. Skilled in social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter), Microsoft and Google Suite, Salesforce and Pipedrive, and Google Ads. My passion for environmentalism drives me to seek out innovative and impactful ways to create positive change. I believe that by working collaboratively and intersectionally, we can develop sustainable solutions that benefit all people and the planet.
