We could just call it “Toyota’s luck” that TPS is a better production system for today’s extensive product diversification and labor-relation transparency. Well, luck would have it again that eliminating waste through technical and managerial innovations, Toyota's focus also brings about a third innovation to the field of industrial operation management. The method offers robust solutions to resolving the conflict between the dependency on economic growth to make a profit and sensible environmental stewardship.
