I have over a decade of experience of teaching History and English in leading independent schools in the UK. Starting as a TEFL volunteer teaching English in Ecuador, I then joined Ludgrove Prep school, teaching English and History as well as coaching football and cricket before joining Radley College as a History teacher and sports coach in 2007. I married Rosie Atkinson in 2011 - a graduate of Pembroke College, Oxford, she has taught Italian and French at St. Edward’s, Oxford and St. Paul’s Boys and also completed a Masters in Digital Publishing at Oxford Brookes. We have three children; Alexander, Cleo and Lettie, all born during our time as housemaster of J Social (2013-present). I have recently been appointed as Headmaster of Belhaven Hill Prep School, starting in September 2020.
