Omar Haq

Omar Haq, ASA, MAAA has 22 years of experience as a health care actuary. His most recent experience includes leading financial reporting for AmeriHealth Caritas. Overseeing a growing staff of highly experienced actuarial Directors and Managers, Omar's responsibilities include Medicaid rate development and review, financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting, trend analysis, valuation of plan liabilities across all health plans, in addition to proformas for new business such as Medicare-Medicaid Plans and oversight of current Medicare products. Omar also has significant experience in large-scale project management having led multi-faceted teams engaged in administrative reduction exercises, implementation of medical management protocols, managing insurer operations and reduction in loss ratios for health plan turnaround or sale to potential investors.
