I co-founded and managed logistic operations at Cacao Marquez, a cocoa company dedicated to produce aromatic pure cacao beans for chocolate creations. Focusing on post-harvest principles that guarantee a great quality ingredient for bean to bar confections. As cocoa producers, we work to preserve and expand our unique varieties, while collaborating with fellow cacao producers to improve harvest output and bean quality. I have been involved in several areas of the business since it's creation. I coordinated the first large scale export into United States, working alongside freight companies, customs authorities and producing all necessary elements to comply with regulations in a timely manner to avoid delays in shipping or waste in resources. While making the products available to international markets, I focused my efforts to position ourselves as a reliable and strong supplier of fine cocoa for chocolate makers. Testing, refining and improving our offer while becoming more efficient in driving the business forward. My goal is a continuous improvement of the plantation-to-market flow, this encompass farming practices, quality testing, logistic operations and marketing efforts to achieve sustainable growth.
