I'm in my first year at Chapman Tripp in the Wellington office's litigation team. For my honours theses, I wrote about juror misconduct and improving accountability for unrecognised rights' claimants in prisons. In relation to juror misconduct, I focused on how the jury system needs to modernise to meet the challenges that have arisen in the 21st century due to technology being used as a transactive memory partner. For my other thesis, I investigated the evolution of Trans prisoner rights in New Zealand, and then used it as a case study to illustrate where there needs to be further accountability mechanisms put in place to protect unrecognised rights' claimants in prison.
