Oscar Cabanes Rodriguez

Óscar Cabanes studied his degree in architecture at the ETSAM Architecture School in Madrid and has taken postgraduate studies at HEC (Paris) and the École de Management de Lyon. His career has been mainly linked to the real estate sector. After an initial stage working for Schneider Electric, in 1995 he joined the Spanish Real Estate Management team of Grupo Continente (currently Carrefour), where he managed several shopping centres, including Centro Comercial Las Rosas and Centro Comercial Getafe Norte in Madrid or Centro Comercial Continente in Badajoz. In the year 2000 he starts a long time career at Bouygues Immobilier, where he initially was the Spanish East Coast Manager and later on takes the position of Spanish General Manager and, from 2009, occupies the post of International General Manager of Bouygues Immobilier in Paris. In his last stint as international managing director, Óscar acquired a broad view of the property industry at European and international level, as well as a thorough knowledge of the sector in France, where he has been working and residing from 2009 to 2012. It is also worth noting his knowledge of the retail, commercial buildings, housing and hotel sectors, in which he has developed significant projects and worked with major international clients and investment funds.
