I am a fully licensed, approved clinical supervisor, dedicated, and hard-working mental health professional that focuses on the growth and well-being of my client’s adults and adolescents utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions. I have a particular affinity for treating children and adolescents including those that have experienced trauma or upheaval at a young age. I am a Child Mental Health Specialist (CMHS. My fluency in English and Spanish allow me a broad understanding of multicultural issues as well as the role that culture plays in the formation of young adult patterns of behavior. I am an Ethnic Minority Mental Health Specialist (EMMHS). I am well-versed and trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Treatment (TF-CBT). Work experience with Adults and Adolescents. Also Served for 17 plus years as board member director area 1, Washington State Board of Directors Association, National Board Schools Board Association December 2001-October 2018. Received the Washington Association of School Administrators Community Leadership Award - 2019
