Paloma Hidalgo

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in International Business and Technology with specialization in Mechanical Engineering and looking for more working experience and new challenges. I am a fast learning person and I have the ability to work in team as well as under pressure, and this is something my past experiences made me recognize. After finishing High School in Lima, Peru, I studied for 2 years at the Alexander von Humboldt Institute, where I realized a Dual Program study as an office clerk. During this time I realized a one year Apprenticeship at a peruvian logistics company called Unimar, where I rotated through 4 different Departments: Purchasing, Methods, Customer Service and Commercial. By completing this program I received an Advanced Technical College Certificate, which allowed me to study in a german University. As a person who is always looking for new challenges and getting out of my comfort zone, and taking advantages of the opportunities I have, I decided to go to Germany in 2016 and started my Bachelor Degree at the University of Applied Sciences Georg Simon Ohm. Studying an international degree (where the lectures are in English and in German) has made me a more open minded person, an it has made me enjoy even more meeting people from different countries and cultures. In 2019 I got the opportunity to do a 6-month Internship in Global Supply Planning at Adidas HQ, in Herzogenaurach, Germany. I was part of the Integrated Business Planning and Engineering Materials Team. Working in this Department and in such a big and international Company made my knowledge in this field increase, as well as my communication and teamwork skills.
