Pam Lee Wen Ai

My current role is in the ESG unit of Malaysia Industrial Development Finance (MIDF), focusing on sustainability, climate change, carbon credit market and green business. Immediately prior to this, I was with BDO Malaysia as the Executive Director (Partner equivalent) providing ESG and Sustainability advisory services as well as overseeing the marketing activities of the firm. I also assist in our Technology Risk (ITGC Audit) practice. I also spent 4+ years of my career in Financial Advisory practice (focusing on Mergers & Acquisition, Financial Due Diligence, Valuation, Financial Modelling, IPO and independent advice) and 5 years in Audit practice. My other career experiences include serving as CFO for a private solar independent power producer in Malaysia and a stint as financial journalist for a Malaysian business newspaper. Other interesting aspects of me outside of work: In April 2015, I won the pageant title Mrs Malaysia Asia International Global 2015 (the title awarded for winning 2nd Runner Up in the Mrs Malaysia Asia International 2015 national pageant). I am a working mum and a Toastmasters member active in public speaking.
