Pamela Dockstader-Ortiz, Psy.D

Dr. Dockstader-Ortiz has provided individual, couples, and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults of diverse backgrounds in a variety of treatment settings. She has extensive experience working with mood and anxiety disorders and with those experiencing PTSD from trauma exposure. Using an eclectic therapy approach, Dr. Dockstader-Ortiz focuses on collaborating with each individual to assist them in achieving their desired treatment goals. Specific areas of clinical interest and specialty includes: trauma-focused counseling using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and exposure therapies; grief and loss; and military psychology. Dr. Dockstader-Ortiz has received the “Serving Our Veterans Behavioral Health Certificate," through the department of defense, to better serve military veterans and their families. Dr. Dockstader-Ortiz received her Master and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology-Argosy.
