Pat Stevenson

I have always been fascinated by 3D computer graphics. Becoming involved in either animation, visualization, or immersive virtual reality has inspired, challenged, and defined the kinds of contributions that I want to make. To be able to write a piece of software that gives insight into solving problems would be the ultimate trip for me especially when you can see the data and the results. Most of my background is in Modeling and Simulation for the military, intelligence, and scientific areas. I have good experience where visualization is used as a primary means of communicating an idea or possibility and that kind of mechanism can be applied generally to a lot of subjects and areas. This experience has also led me to see where connections can be made between different pieces of software, so I have learned quite a bit on how to do quick mashups between technologies to find that integrated workflow for a solution.
