A Chartered Chemical Engineer with project management experience delivering practical solutions in a fast paced project environment for a global design office serving some of the biggest players in oil & gas. An innovative team player working to enhance quality and efficiency of deliverables through the introduction of new work processes. Familiar with quality standard ISO 9001. A strong communicator known for effective interfacing between different team members in a multi-discipline team. Also able to produce high quality report material, communicating concepts, project methodology and results to high profile clients. Capturing ideas to improve the project management of major construction projects worldwide. Currently preparing for Project Management Professional and Prince2 Foundation exams. Able to interpret project briefs and client requirements to produce a project scope of work breaking projects down into groups of activities. Identifies and selects appropriate resources and timeframes to complete activities. Monitors progress and reports information back to core management group. Organises meetings, writes agendas and meeting minutes to provide actions for follow up and to progress the project further. Commercial experience outside of project management also includes developing financial evidence to support project sanction and procurement expeditor experience during EPC project. Design experience includes solids, liquids and gas processing, onshore LNG, refining, solution mining, vacuum evaporation, drying and carbon capture. Internal auditor for environmental standard ISO 14001 and food industry safety process HACCP. I enjoy working in a project based design environment and am also able to work in an operating environment. I have recently gained experience in a project engineering role. I would like to expand on this area going forward in my career.
