After 15 years, I have retired from the Chief Technology Officer position at Colgate Palmolive. It was such an honor to have led a team of remarkable scientists, designers and engineers who delivered a pipeline of growth-driving innovation to markets around the globe. Most of all, I am extremely grateful to the remarkably talented people at Colgate. Not only were they deep subject matter experts but they were generous with their time, talent and passion - always looking to improve and advance our organization. Best in class!I recently joined the Board of Directors for Ingredion Corporation based in Westchester Illinois. I'm both honored and excited to be part of this organization which provides innovative solutions to the food, beverage and consumer products industries. Ingredion focuses on texturizing ingredients (primarily starch-based), non-GMO sweeteners (Stevia) and plant proteins. I'm also proud to serve on the the Board of Directors for Avient Corporation in Lake Avon, OH which creates high performing specialty chemicals for the polymer industry. I'm continue to serve on the Board of Trustees for The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ - along with a dedicated team of board members, medical professionals and staff who have dedicated their lives to caring for others. Previously, I served on the board of Monsanto, a dynamic, science-driven organization committed to expanding capabilities of the agricultural industry and feeding the world. In the past, I held the position of Vice President, Scientific Affairs, for the Grocery Manufacturers Association in Washington DC. From 2000 to 2006, I was also Vice President, Research & Development, at ConAgra Foods which had such a diverse portfolio of brands from Hunt's tomatoes to Slim Jim. I started this amazing career journey with 17 years at Nabisco, serving in multiple roles including plant management and scientific leadership. My undergraduate degree is from the University of Delaware and I hold an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a PhD in Food Science from Rutgers University.
