Patrick Milan

I am a New Jersey Native and a graduate from Seton Hall University with a B.S. In Physics. For almost two years, I conducted research under the mentorship of Dr. Weining Wang in the field of photovoltaics. Using a variety of equipment I have been able to fabricate Cadmium Telluride solar cells and then test and analyze their respective efficiencies. I have presented my research at the American Physical society meeting and I am in the process of publishing my research. Through my undergraduate research my interest in the field of photovoltaics has increased. Renewable energy has become a much more important field in the recent years, and the perfection of devices such as photovoltaics is crucial. As a result I have completed my masters degree in electrical engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a focus in power and energy systems.
