Since 2016 I have held multiple roles within the Devops team at Stericycle Communication Solutions, highlights of my time with Stericycle has been managing the migration of applications from a Physical Infrastructure to a Microsoft Azure Cloud based solution. Reorganized the Devops team incident and change management to better handle Customer and Development requests. Improving the security of the application by leading a project to remove all transport protocols except for TLS 1.2 on web applications that handle patient data. Updating and writing Policies and Procedures used by the organization and completing a Third-party Security Audit to obtain AICPA certifications for Soc2 Type 2 and HIPAA (Healthcare Insurance Accountability Act). Prior to working with Stericycle, I lead a Team of Middleware and Database IT Specialists located at IBM offices in India and on site at our customer location in Canada. Supporting both daily operational needs and Project work. I have had tremendous success in improving the service levels of our off-shore support team and ensuring that my support teams exceed customer expectations. I chaired the Middleware Governance group improving communication between IBM Technical Staff and key customer Technical personal. This lead to an improved partnership between IBM and our customer and better planning on steady state activities and Project work. Additionally, I implemented a plan that increase technical expertise on the team again leading to higher customer satisfaction.
