Patrik Horváth

I graduated at University of Pécs in Business Informatics. I am currently working on two projects, with colleages from all over the world. I met many friendly and supportive people and gained a lot of experience and received a lot of positive feedback from many of them. I got familiar with Azure cloud services, SQL Server, data designs and architectures, CI/CD, just to mention a few. I also have experience in maintenance. My responsibilities are to monitor services and applications, solve and manage incidents, service requests, communicate with business, pinpoint architectural/design problems and possible bugs, suggest system improvements, write useful documentations, and so on. On the other hand, I am also very well familiar with Software Development. I have a bunch of old and new projects which I developed in my free time just for fun, to spice up my otherwise boring hours. Currently my top pick programming langauge is Python, but I also have relevant experience with many other programming languages and technologies. I do not feel the neccessity to list all of them, in my eyes these are just tools. The important thing is to have the correct mindset, analytical skills and experience. By the way, I started to daily drive Linux recently to encourage myself to learn something new. It never hurts a tech guy to get familiar with something new, right? 🙂 I like supporting and teaching others, especially at work, because knowledge is what drives me and teaching others makes me feel useful. Not to mention, it also takes the burden off my shoulder. I like challenges and I never shy away from them. I know from experience that in this industry this is a must have trait. Also in general, challenges are what help individuals grow and evolve.
