Patrik Schönfeldt

I have always liked two things: modeling nature and communication. Doing science in school was mostly led by the approach to do experiments and to describe the outcome by analytic formulas. On the communication side, I enjoined e.g. Model united nations conferences with hundreds of participants. As I know now, a key step in my personal development was to start doing game design and 3D art. While I really loved the experiments in physics classes and later at university, I privately continued evolving my programming skills. Also, I worked with other creative minds having to communicate on a non-expert level. In the end, the combination of both led me to development of code for simulation and automated data evaluation — both aimed to be used not only by experts. Privately I am involved in the Association of German Gamers (VDVC), acting as a video gamers’ spokesman.
