Patsy Moody

As a nurse for 28 years, I pride myself on being a nurturing and compassionate person who enjoys learning new skills and working within a team. My medical career started as being a candy-striper in a rehabilitation and nursing home center. I then worked as an LPN in a rehabilitation center when completing my degree in nursing. As a proud new graduate, my first full-time job was at a nursing home then worked on the medical/surgical floor as a staff nurse. In this role, I enjoyed being the team lead while managing my own patient assignment. After expanding my experience to working as a clinic nurse for 6 months, I found my passion as an outpatient ophthalmic ambulatory nurse supervisor, where I have stayed for 26 years. In this role, I am responsible for the care, monitoring and well-being of outpatient cataract patients from admission to discharge. As the mother of a large family, I have set many goals and have enjoyed meeting them while being blessed by each new responsibility I have taken on.
