As the Director of HIMSS Media Lab, Custom Content, my goal is to contribute to creating new content marketing programs and ensuring the development of relevant, timely, and high-quality content in the health and information market. I oversee freelance writers' work and ensure that the product delivered to our clients is of high quality, and that the writers I manage work within well-defined processes and procedures, and are professional with our clients. In presentations, whether they be via webinars or in-person events, I deliver relevant information with authority and clarity, and in an engaging manner. I am a writer whose goal is to engage the reader, whether through articles and custom content at HIMSS Media or through my fiction. I am an editor whose goal is to make sure that whatever I write or whatever piece I edit is clear and concise. My debut novel, A Village in the Fields, was shortlisted for the Seventh William Saroyan International Prize for Writing, Fiction, 2016.
