A Leader and Manager with 30 years’ global experience as a professional Engineer in the automotive arena, initially with Ford Motor Company, then with Clean Air Power, a Tier 1 SME, and more recently with Bentley Motors. A proven technical background coupled with a breadth of experience working in different roles with various companies around the globe, puts me in an excellent position to develop and deliver new and innovative solutions and products to market successfully. I have delivered multi-million pound projects, developed & delivered a wide range of customer focussed & innovative powertrain products to OEM standards, lead teams of 100 people, and always established & evolved strong processes to improve & maintain operating effectiveness. Broad product development experience effectively interfacing with other departments and business units, e.g. Product Support, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, etc., and applying 6 Sigma and lean manufacturing knowledge along with change management techniques & tools. Skilled in Project Management, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Automotive Engineering, ISO/TS 16949, Six Sigma, and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP). Strong operations professional with a Bachelor’s Degree focused in Mechanical Engineering from Warwick University. I thrive in a team based environment and have qualifications in Coaching (Liverpool John Moores University) and Leadership (VW Leadership Licence). Associate Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (AIMechE) since June 1996.
