I'm a passionate coder who loves building things that make the world more interesting. I love putting pieces together from concepts to working applications. Code is the tool I use to get there, but I still think the process of coding has a long way to go, and I want to be a part of it's evolution. I love clean, elegant, READABLE code. I code for humans, not for machines. I like to think, work, and live outside of the box, along with a healthy start up mentality to everything I do. I'm driven by results and the process that gets you there, not the hours. Specialties include: Javascript, React, Redux, Angular and functional programming. Node or PHP/Laravel on the backend. Excited about application architecture, Single Page Apps, SOLID design principles, loosely coupled code and functional programming concepts / languages. Other hobbies are visual fx, video editing and filming. I love the procedural nature of visual effects as it couples the worlds of maths/code with graphics/motion. Of special interest are fluid dynamics and particle simulations.
