I have spent a majority of the last 13 years working in Highway Inspection. During my time in the highways sector I have I used various Data Capture software and performed a various types of surveys. This includes software that collects data UKPMS walked, driven surveys and Machine based surveys like Scanner, SCRIM, and TRAMS. I have helped plan and process all of these surveys to. Also I have performed surveys to the Highway Standard HD29/08. I also helped setup a GIS data collection for successful projects in Newham, Medway and Kent County Council. Also I was part of the collection team to trial GIS collection of Airport PCI taxiway and runway data. I have also supervised Pavement Core Investigations and DCP Investigations. I enjoy the new technologies and techniques of collecting data which can make asset management effective and efficient.
