Paul Groves

I live in Lexington KY. I grew up in Bourbon County and attended Bourbon County High School. In high school I joined the United States Army National Guard. There I was a Fire Direction Specialist, and specialized in field artillery. From the ARMY I learned a lot about respecting senior officers and following commands. They also taught me a great deal about self discipline and how to handle situations under stress. After the military I attended college at ITT Technical Institute where I obtained my Associates Degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design with a 3.87 GPA. I started working for LG&E/KU in the spring of 2009 as a co-op and was later moved to a full time contractor. At E.W. Brown Power Station, as the Document Manager in the Compliance & Document Management Department, I learned a great deal about the power industry as well as heightened my skills in reading and creating blue prints. In the spring of 2011 I re-started my learning at ITT Tech to obtain my Bachelors Degree in the field of Project Management. All of these classes were taken online and did not affect my work hours. I finished my degree in December of 2012. In 2013 I was hired at InnerSpace Strategies Inc. In Lexington KY as an Application Engineer. My role is to design HVAC/Mechanical/Electrical controls for Schools, Hospitals, Military installments, etc... Being an Engineer has always been a very big dream of mine and I am very proud of the work that I do. In 2016 my interest was sparked in the Real Estate Market. I attended Cooke Real-Estate School Online for my Principal Courses of Real Estate. So in addition to being a Full Time Application Engineer I am also Currently under Better Homes and Gardens - Cypress Real Estate.
