Every day I work with Hospital / Healthcare Facility Managers, HVAC Mechanical Contractors, and MRO Maintenance Repair Operations crews. These guys are the unsung heroes, behind the scenes and under-appreciated for the work they do each day to keep the indoor air at their sites clean and healthy. The machinery is aging. The work orders pile up. There is never enough time in the day. The phones constantly ring, And when they do it might as well be the fire bell because the needs they meet are always urgent. Today, they feel the added pressure and personal risk to do all they can do to dampen down the effects of this new variation of “crud” at their workplaces, offices, classrooms, retail spaces, and in their environments of care. I work alongside these technicians, supplying information, technology, hardware and replacement parts. These are the men willing to invest time, energy and money to optimize the Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning systems, Improve efficiencies, Reduce energy consumption and supply fresh, healthy and invigorating Indoor Air Quality at their sites, by maintaining the equipment, machinery and control systems that provide it.
