Senior investment banking professional with extensive management-level experience of business development and franchise creation at firms ranging from full-service investment banks to independent broker dealers and boutiques. More than 20 years’ experience representing UK and international companies in the middle market in both financing and M&A transactions as well as strategic advisory assignments. Instrumental, as a cornerstone partner, in the establishment of the London office of natural resource-focused Canadian independent Westwind Partners in 2005. Remained with the business through successive changes of ownership via Thomas Weisel Partners and culminating in Stifel (2010), specialising in the mining sector and executing some 35 capital markets and M&A transactions in the size range ranging $20 – 200 million. Most recently, has taken up a senior position at Wimmer Financial, a London-headquartered boutique providing equity and debt capital markets advisory services to junior and mid-tier natural resource companies globally.
