Currently studying forest technology at the Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Iles, my goal is to join a forestry cooperative. My deep feeling of connection with nature, pushed me to increase my knowledge in the sector of Forest Management, this is why I decided to continue my schooling in Canada and to stay here to work. Joining a Forest Cooperative represents for me a considerable opportunity that would allow me to work in a magnificent setting rich in forest resources that Quebec is and to develop my knowledge and skills in silvicultural work, in managing the sustainability of wooded areas. , in wood development as well and in forest planning. During my graduate studies I did a 12-week internship at the ONF (national forestry office) during which I was able to develop a number of professional skills such as checking the rate of resumption of plantations, decision-making of silvicultural itineraries as well as the management of groups of visitors. In addition, thanks to my various professional experiences in companies, I was able to acquire many skills such as personnel management, decision-making, conflict management and task planning. Dynamic, responsible and rigorous, I am sure that I have the qualities necessary to join a cooperative. I also hold a driving license, so I am mobile, autonomous and available. P.NORMAND
