Paul Ogborn

I am an experienced and highly motivated Board Member with a background in General Management, Supply Chain and Manufacturing with significant international exposure having lived and worked overseas for nearly half of my professional career. This journey has seen me head up multimillion dollar companies with large P&Ls and run complex global supply chains with responsibility for large teams and billions of dollars in assets. I am a Member of Institute of Directors (IoD), institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and a Chartered EngineerI currently offer consultancy in my key areas of expertise including Leadership, General Business, Supply Chain, Trade Union Negotiation, Sustainability and Talent Development to businesses, Start-Ups and academia (including acting as subject expert when assessing Engineering Doctorate (EngD) programmes). I am a keen supporter of diversity and I have been involved in numerous initiatives including working with The 30% Club.Leveraging my executive experience of corporate governance at a senior and director level I am also broadening and expanding into non-executive and NED roles.A keen classic car collector for many years, I am also an enthusiastic race driver and qualified race instructor. Together with my wife we founded Mr & Mrs Racing in 2017 with the ambition to promote diversity in motorsport and help encourage budding motorsport participants. Between us we have built up a considerable network and experience with success on-track winning races and championships in general circuit racing and 24-hour endurance races. Succeeding in endurance racing has parallels with succeeding in business requiring team working, strategy, planning, resilience and the ability to adapt quickly with no substitute for experience. We offer bespoke professional services from getting started in motorsport, how to deal with the inevitable ups and downs to on-track dedicated instruction.Whether it is management consultancy, NED or motorsport coaching I also offer ‘pro bono’ work and I am always open to discuss this further.
