I have been working in the Mental Health field for over 6 yrs., I started in this field shortly after a 6 year enlistment in The US Coast Guard. I have enjoyed all the opportunities that I have been given in life as a worker and practitioner in this field, In the future I would like to use my knowledge, education and experiences to educate and participate in academic research. I am currently a student at Capella University in the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), in Psychology program with a projected graduation date of 2017. What I would like to do in the next 4 years is work in both the field, in the classroom and contribute to research. At this time I plan on doing my dissertation on ???
