Currently Course Leader for the Business and Management Foundation Programme and Lecturer in Business and Management Undergraduate Studies at the University of Central Lancashire and loving every minute of this new post. Previously, Programme Leader for HE Business and Management Studies and A-Level Product Design, Curriculum Manager for Work Based Learning in Construction and Furniture Manufacturing - and proud of the achievements made during the time in post at Burnley College over the last 14 years of service. Lead Provider for the LSIS Employer Responsiveness Framework supporting organisations with apprenticeship delivery, mapping the employer journey, quality standards and bespoke mentoring. Involved in successful Training Quality Standard implementation and OFSTED Inspection. Managed National Work Based Learning contracts to meet performance targets and needs of employers. Specialities: Strategy, Ops Management, HR and marketing. Curriculum management, employer liaison, WBL, implementation of quality standards, teaching BTEC, technical certificates, bespoke course development with competences in Construction furniture manufacturing, Assessing and Verifying of awards, qualification standards development with Awarding Bodies, advising Sector Skills Councils on industry needs and developments within the sector.
