Paul Walker

An operations and project manager with extensive experience in traffic operations and management, including a strong focus on bicycles, people and public transport. This experience comes from working for the 2015 Cricket World Cup as Fleet Operations Manager for Australia and New Zealand, the Vancouver and London Olympics in traffic management and more recently at Bicycle Network and Sport Projects managing course and traffic management for cycling and running events including the World Tour Cadel Evans Road Race and Run 4 the Kids, as well as managing and running government and active travel programs including position papers, strategies and presentations. I also have experience in business development in the financial services and sporting sector, giving me excellent budget, planning and analysis skills. As well as my professional experience in cycling I’m also a passionate cyclist myself who rides regularly on the road, dirt, trails and bike paths and takes an active role in influencing rider behaviour at my cycling club and through social media advocacy.
