Paul Weber

As a successful entrepreneur in the hospitality industry for most of my life, I now enjoy business investments it's a natural progression! It is, first and foremost, about relationships, service and honest communication. After selling Webers Restaurants in 2004, including the iconic Highway 11 hamburger stop, I turned my efforts to philanthropy. I was drawn to help the community build Lakehead University, Orillia. The chance to engage community leaders, various levels of government, and the citizens of Simcoe County was a unique opportunity. Based on my desire to create lasting relationships with donors and a legacy of support for students, I took on the task and still work with the University. I have also worked closely with YMCA Capital Campaign in bringing Country of Simcoe as a Major Donor to this incredible project. As a longtime resident of Horseshoe Valley, I enjoy being an active community leader in both the Barrie and Orillia area communities. Giving back and supporting a stronger community is a core value that I promise to continue.
