An innovative Training and Development professional with an Operations background and international experience, skilled in the roles associated with learning, leading and changing in organisations; passionate about the design and delivery of world class training interventions utilising the latest thinking in “Effective (Brain-friendly) Learning”I started The Improvement Company in September 2002 and have worked with a number of blue chip and SME clients on a range of successful projects in many different kinds of organisations ranging from health care, manufacturing, banking, insurance, energy supply, mobile telecoms and publishing. I also run a small coaching practice. Currently I am a learning consultant for an International Bank.I have been a regular associate with Leaps and Bounds, Appleton Associates and Meridian. Interventions have included train the trainer, management development, contact centre induction design and delivery, sales through service training in contact centres, action learning sets to senior leadership development and coaching. Most recently I have been working with a client in India delivering EL train the trainer and manager awareness sessions.I have recently set up a small recording studio / rehearsal room where we can record audio for trainers who use it and podcasts.Specialties: Brain friendly learning, training design, delivery, research, wide and varied industry experience, recording facilities, small rehearsal room.
