Paula Schindele

I currently work in the Information Technology Organization as a Quality Coordinator working independently on assignments which support organizational or Sandia projects, programs, and business operations. I lead integrated teams on complex processes. Plan, conduct, and report on projects. Develop solutions to specific problems related to issues of broad scope, complexity, and impact with either internal or external customers. I develop and implement new methods and processes utilizing IT service management (ITSM), ITIL and Lean and Six Sigma principles to assure quality outcomes for the organization. Previously I worked in healthcare for 16 years in a variety of positions. During my career in the Healthcare business I had many positions including management of multiple departments, manager of outpatient clinics, Infection Control manager and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. In both IT and Healthcare my work has focused on Lean and Six Sigma Process and ITSM, ITIL, quality solutions. External interests include time with my children, exercise (always up for a new program), golf, jewelry making, crochet, and volunteer work in my community. I also volunteer my time and participate on the ASQ board as Recertification Chair.
