Pedro Caiano

Pedro Caiano is a freelance director, producer, and editor with over 20 years of experience in the film and media industry. He was born in Porto in 1977 and holds a degree in Sound and Image from the Portuguese Catholic University. Pedro has an extensive portfolio, having worked on a range of projects including long-feature films, short-films, television series, music videos, documentaries, and advertising films. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with over a dozen different film production houses. In addition to his work in film, Pedro has also served as an expert consultant for ESAF-BES and BANIF in the Fund for Film and Audiovisual - F.I.C.A. Between 2007 and 2011. From 2003 to 2005, he was a Film and Video Technician at the Serralves Museum in Porto. Pedro's short film "Pano-Cru," premiered at the Fantasporto2003 International Film Festival and won several awards, including 1st prize for Best Fiction Video at the Festivideo2003 Video Festival and Best Fiction Film at Corta 2004 Porto Short-Film Festival. With his diverse experience within various formats of Media and Broadcasting, Pedro has demonstrated his expertise in film production and has continued to excel in the industry.
