Perry Paul Jr

I graduated from Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute May 2013, with an Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. During the course of my studies, I was trained on AutoCAD, AC/DC Electricity, and general manufacturing concepts. Since this time, I have worked as an engineering technologist for Duke Energy, out of the Marion North Carolina Operations Center. As a engineering technician I have been tasked with providing solutions for customer’s energy needs. This has required me to manage multiple projects at once, hone my decision making skills, and provide customers with excellent customer service. My time in this role has also given me valuable experience in the utility distribution system and a strong basic understanding of the utility industry. I have become familiar with Maximo interface, Expert Designer software, Duke Energy’s design standards, and NESC standards. I am a hands-on, attention oriented individual that takes pride in my work.
