Pete Giannino

A cleared professional supporting the Strategic Capabilities Office (OUSD/SCO), external communication with the general public, and coordination with foreign allied representatives to determine opportunities for cooperation on strategic initiatives. I enjoy interfacing with a variety of individuals to advance the mission of our office and the U.S. I am actively looking for opportunities that would allow me to build upon my current skill set from working in the DOD while leveraging my extensive knowledge of Europe and Eurasia. I graduated from the College of William & Mary with a B.A. In German Studies and Global Studies with a concentration in Russian & Post-Soviet Studies, I received a Fulbright Fellowship as an English Teaching Assistant at a German secondary school, where I further honed my language skills by enrolling at the local university. Upon returning to the U.S. I began working as a Sales Representative at Noldus Information Technology where I supported North American sales teams in their day-to-day operations. I decided to return to academia and enrolled in the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service to re-engage with my passions and to build upon my prior experiences and coursework to deepen and widen my knowledge base in energy and security issues in Europe. As a graduate student at Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service (Masters of German and European Studies), I focused on energy and security in Europe and its periphery.
