My skill set is a rare and unique commodity in the Broadcast Media & Content Industry - with vast experience in TV and Content Acquisitions across Broadcast, Digital & Online platforms, Production & Development, Programming, Scheduling and Media Planning, Creative Briefing and Executive Production, with overall responsibilities which include launching new Free To Air TV Channels, to re-engineering existing Digital FTA Channels into commercially successful and distinctly meaningful propositions, and negotiating multi-million dollar content deals with an unparalleled network of local & international contacts. Additionally I lead the Network Programming and Content Acquisition strategy for SBS Australia including SBS, SBS Viceland and SBS On Demand, often referred to as “Australia’s free Netflix”. My current role is to manage and expand the business, by creating opportunities to entertain more people with SBS’s content, across a multi-channel and multi-platform environment, ultimately increasing the business’ audience reach, reputation and overall relevance.
