Peter Forbes

Peter joined Extrastaff Recruitment as General Manager in September 2006 with the responsibility of growing it's current branch network which consisted of two nationally. During the period between 2006 and 2011 was instrumental in developing and implementing the Group's overall strategy with seven additional branches opened including Christchurch, New Zealand.Peter has experience in the integration of acquisitions as well as overseeing the payroll and WH&S divisions of the Extrastaff business.In November 2011, Extrastaff was acquired by the New South Wales Business Chamber (NSWBC) where Peter continues his role as General Manager while also responsible for Head of Brand in SA and VIC.The (NSWBC) is owned by it’s members. The elected Board of Directors for our Chambers provide effective directorship, governance, stability and oversight of management and operations. As the training service delivery arm for state peak multi-industry bodies we are very cognisant of ours and Chamber’s brands and our brand reputation that is reflected on a daily basis in our interactions and delivering on our commitments to Chamber members. We aim to lead by example in the business community that we service.Peter brings a wealth of experience to the (NSWBC), having worked in various capacities for other national recruitment organisations including Trojan Workforce for more than 11 years. He also has extensive experience in writing tenders and has worked with procurement across multi national organisations to deliver on outcomes.
