Peter Gibbens

I took the slightly non-conventional route and acquired project management competencies before getting my hands dirty with business analysis. My 6 years of experience in the financial services industry ranges from IT-focused projects through to regulatory compliance projects; from organisation-wide campaigns to tweaking small system features; from operating in a multitude of programme teams down to small focused teams. My specialities include bridging the gap between business and technical worlds, ensuring all parties understand the shared business goal; providing solutions and direction to business problems; sharing knowledge through detailed documentation; managing project teams toward targeted deliverables; and providing reports of varying detail to stakeholders. I enjoy exploring beyond the borders of my mandate to learn new subject matter and skills that can bolster my ability to do my job better and benefit my team.
