About
Peter established MAAPS Design & Architecture in 2010. His team of architects & designers work across a variety of commercial, residential and hospitality projects.He designs for longevity, using appropriate materials & common sense technologies. A man of space, he artfully re-imagines the environments in which we live, learn, work, and play. Peter brings a lively natural ingenuity to a project and delivers thoughtful, well-crafted work, at an architectural, commercial, and domestic scale. In 1997, he ventured forth as an independent consultant and quickly won the contract to design the interiors of Club Quarters hotels in the UK & USA. His Practice grew and completed a diverse range of UK/International projects in the Maritime, Arts, Retail, Performance, Commercial, and Residential sectors. Following a design collaboration on Club Quarters’ Trafalgar Square hotel in 2007, the MDA team joined forces with Robert Hutson Architects, with Peter appointed as Director of Interiors. While this was initially successful ultimately, he felt more driven as an independent. So, in 2010 MAAPS Design & Architecture was established.
